Angora Ridge

Angora Ridge can be accessed seasonally via Forest Road 1214. Take Highway 89 northwest from the City of South Lake Tahoe, turn left on Fallen Leaf Road then just past the green gate turn left on Tahoe Mountain Road, then right on Angora Ridge Road (Forest Road 1214.)

Please be aware that Angora Ridge, Fallen Leaf and Tahoe Mountain roads are closed in the winter. Seasonal access is typically from mid-May to mid-November, conditions and weather permitting.

Reservations

General Information

Angora Lookout and Angora Lakes Resort can be accessed seasonally from Angora Ridge Road.

Late Spring, Summer and Early Fall

Campfires (wood, charcoal or any other solid fuels) are not permitted.

Parking Fee

Pets must be on a leash and kept out of the lake at all times.
