Ski With A Ranger is made possible through a collaborative effort with Heavenly Mountain Resort and other partners to help educate the public about the mission and role of the Forest Service in ski area management, improve public understanding of natural resource processes and issues, and promote environmental literacy and stewardship.

Winter Trek is a 3-hour fifth-grade conservation education program made possible through a collaborative effort with Heavenly Mountain Resort. Forest Service Rangers and volunteers lead students through the wilderness to learn snowshoe skills, forest and fire ecology.
